The OFF Academy is a two-day educational outreach intended for middle and high school students to learn the process of filmmaking from industry professionals.
Pre-registered students will receive an OFF Academy badge which will grant them access to all of the OFF Academy panels as well as all Omaha Film Festival screenings.
The three main pillars that the Academy is built on are ENTERTAINMENT | EDUCATION | INSPIRATION.
With industry professionals from across the country the two-day sessions will give students an inside look at screenwriting, acting, auditioning, cinematography, film lighting, editing, producing, and directing and will include hands-on interactive workshops targeting students in the disciplines they’re most interested in.
